Thanksgiving is next week!!  We can’t believe it’s here already!! 

This year we have so much to be thankful for!!  Most of all we are extremely grateful we are for our friends, family, clients and co-workers!  It’s people like you that make our lives so much better!!

A Christmas Affair – November 16 thru December 4 at the Palmer Events Center.  Every year The Junior League of Austin puts on this amazing superstore that exhibits approximately 200 vendors showcasing their Christmas wares, along with parties, children's activities, a private shopping brunch, and Santa! www.jlaustin.org

Santa’s Arrival and Tree Lighting – November 25th 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Hill Country Galleria.  This year is the 10th annual Santa Arrival and Tree Lighting event!  It’s a great opportunity to shop over 100 stores and restaurants in the Hill Country Galleria while being entertained with dance performances, live music, face painting, Santa, tree lighting and fireworks!  In addition, enjoy many Black Friday specials at many of the retailers!  www.hillcountrygalleria.com

Blue Genie Art Bazaar – November 25 thru December 24 at The Marchesa Hall & Theatre. The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a unique holiday art show featuring an array of handmade artwork and gifts from more than 200 local and regional artists.  The best part is that a portion of proceeds go to Make-A-Wish® Foundation.  www.bluegenieartbazaar.com

Chuy's Christmas Parade – November 26 on Congress Avenue.  This fabulous and fun holiday parade showcases a plethora of giant balloons, marching bands, vintage cars, celebrities and floats.  It’s a great way to start the holiday season!!  www.chuysparade.com

Turkey Trot – November 24 in downtown Austin.  The 26th annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is set to host about 20,000 participants in the largest five-mile run in Texas.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event are donated to Caritas of Austin, which provides education and support services to working underprivileged people and helps them become self-sufficient.  www.thundercloud.com

Emily Ann Theatre & Gardens Holiday Trail of Lights – November 26 thru December 29 in Wimberley.  Walk eight acres of light exhibits, ride the Jingle Bell Express train, visit Santa, meet a princess or take a photo in one of many character cutouts during this cherished holiday tradition in Wimberley, Texas.   http://www.emilyann.org/trailoflights.html
